App license

Your use of Presso is governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement and applicable law. This page explains Presso’s purchase options and points you to the terms that apply to your Apple Account.

Free use and Pro

Presso includes 3 successful free compressions and common single-file conversions, including JPEG, PNG, H.264 MP4/MOV, standard M4A and GIF-to-MP4. Pro adds unlimited compression, batch and folder processing, premium output formats, saved presets and watch folders. Features depend on supported source formats and your Mac.

Pro is offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription. US prices are $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year; local pricing is displayed in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation before purchase. There is no subscription trial advertised on this page. The free compressions do not start a subscription.

Billing and cancellation

Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. Your purchase sheet shows the applicable price and billing period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account or through Manage subscriptions in Presso’s Pro settings. Access continues until the end of a paid period after you cancel renewal.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Follow Apple’s cancellation instructions. Existing lifetime Pro purchases can be restored with the Apple Account that owns them.

Restoration and refunds

Use Restore purchases in the app with the Apple Account used for purchase. An internet connection may be required to verify access. If a purchase is not recognized, follow the purchase support steps.

Apple handles refund requests. Use Report a Problem or read Apple’s refund guidance. Eligibility depends on your purchase and region; this page does not limit statutory consumer rights.

Your files

Process only media you have permission to use. Smaller outputs may lose detail, and a requested size is not guaranteed. Presso saves separate outputs by default. If you enable moving originals to Trash, review that setting and your backups before processing valuable files.
